He was one of the nation's best college football players, playing for the University of Florida. In the final minutes of his final college game he blew out his knee, ending a career that never started. Don is bitter about what could have been and is often reminded of this fact when people recognize him from his past. Working at a Quickie-Mart, Don is a bitter unhappy man with no future ahead of him. Game Notes: Ving Rames would be the best actor to portray this large black man. Once the game started I decided it would be cool if the day the Zombies attacked was also his birthday. So, as a result of fallout he gained during the first conflict he gained the "It's my birthday" trait. It really fit the character concept. ________________________________________________________________________ Ed Jenkins Played by Wilson Zorn Complicated History Acuity 5d6 Heart 4d6 Body 3d6 Will 3->2d6 Drinks 2d4->2d6 I'm a Survivor 2d6 Extremely well read 1d10 Frustrated writer 1d10 Welcomes the End of the World 1d4->1d6 (Hates re Movie?) 1d4 *I can convince someone my writing is good 1d6 Bad Back 1d4 Fears Zombies 1d4 Concussion 1d4 Relationships (4d6 available): Embittered ex-Girlfriend 1d8 SOB Brother (no dice assigned) Otto (Laguca) 1d8 Lita 1d6 Don (White) 1d4 Belongings: Bottle Opener 1d6 Keys to Disney World facility 1d6 Mustang 1d4 DVDs 1d6 Excellent (Beer?) 2d6 ? 1d6->1d4 Janitor's Clothes? 1d4 ? 1d6 ? 1d6 ________________________________________________________________________ Starts with Don working the night shift at his Quicky Mart near a highway intersection 10 miles from Disney World, outside Orlando Florida, with news reports that a hurricane is expected to miss landfall. It's his birthday. NPC Jailbait girl (Lita) tries to steal some beer, Don: "Not on my shift!" Otto stops off on his way north with a load of weed in his sports car, to pick up some energy drinks. Billy Jo, kicked out of his own house earlier that day when he caught his wife cheatin' on him, has driven his pickup truck (with a gun in the rack) north and stopped off at the Mart. Ed Jenkins has pulled his crappy rusted-out mustang into the lot to pick up more beer on the way home from his shift as a janitor at Disney World. Conflicts: Otto vs. Don: Does Don lose his temper? Mr. Yuppy and his wife pull into the parking lot in their big SUV and clip Billy's truck. Does Mr. Yuppy give Billy $500 to fix it? No. Does Don get everyone out of the store? No. The first zombie comes into the store and tears Mr. Yuppy's throat out. Does Otto reach his car? No. Does Otto reach the Quicky Mart? No. Does Otto get bit? No. Does the Zombie get in the door? No. Does Mrs. Yuppy get out of her crashed SUV? Yes, and she and Don run around to the back door. Do the Zombies get Billy Jo? Hell yeah, but he provides a distraction so Don and Mrs. Yuppy get back into the store safely. Billy Jo wades into the zombies berserk with an axe and is gorily devoured. Don and Mrs. Yuppy barricade themselves in the Quick Mart. Ed, his new jailbait girlfriend Lita, and the now one-armed Otto flee in Ed's crappy mustang, as several survivors approach the Mart with a horde of zombies in slow but relentless pursuit.
