Back from Oklahoma

I have been to Oklahoma, where I hung out with my mother, watched Fraggle Rock, ate a lot of really excellent food, and generally relaxed. I freaked out a tiny bit Friday night, but managed to go to sleep anyway, and slept quite well although not enough. So all in all it was a win.

Now I'm back, and working on the search functionality I wasn't able to get finished Friday. I don't think I'm going to finish it today, either, but at least I've gotten to the point where it's throwing an entirely new & more exciting set of exceptions.

I need music. Unfortunately, my headphones are still in my backpack (having gone to Oklahoma). I should remember them tomorrow.

Jim gets home tonight! And yes, there will be much rejoicing; coming home to an empty house last night was astonishingly unpleasant, and I almost had to result to outside help in order to sleep. Don't know why I was so tense, maybe it was just all the travelling, but I was in a really bad way for a while. Lying in bed reading A Game of Thrones (I didn't have the energy to go back to Brin) helped.

So Jim is home around 2030. Before that I'm going to dinner with Trip at Su Hong, where I can hopefully satiate my desperate craving for sweet & sour, and maybe get the Mandarin (Op)pressed duck as well. Plus I will see Trip, and burble to him about A Game of Thrones (I wonder if he's read it?), and also about Oklahoma. This should be fun.
