Things Progress

Well, things are starting to be decided now. After much discussion and negotiation (although less than one might think), it seems that I am going to be moving into Room16 after all. If Czr does indeed decide to move to the City. And if he does so in a timely fashion. I should know more after this weekend.

Earl is surprisingly okay with all of this, at least so far. Perhaps he'll suffer meltdown over the weekend, but I am devoutly hoping not.

The weekend itself looks pleasantly busy. Tonight we're going out to dinner somewhere as-yet-undefined, and then coming home to finally watch Chasing Amy, which Earl rented on Tuesday. Tomorrow I'm sleeping late, then we're driving to Costa Mesa to hang out in a mall or something similar until the 8pm performance of Tom Stoppard's Arcadia. I'm muchly looking forward to it -- Earl & I saw it performed in downtown LA in January of 1997, and some of the interpretation was very different from what we'd expected... so it'll be interesting to see how this group handles it.

It looks like I have an interview with Tango on 26 May. Tango is Rachel's company, so I'd be interviewing for a position as a Java programmer. I'm not a Java programmer, but if I can convince them I am I suppose I'll become one...
