I'm listening to Rush again, specifically the mix tape that Neil made
me. It was listening to that tape that gave me the name for this
diary. I think of it as the soundtrack to eluki bes shahar's
Hellflower books, which makes it altogether interesting listening.
I've now seen four or five different people say that mood music for
writing helps them immensely. My intincts are right, I guess.
Earlhere, so I'm in an appropriate state of relaxed contentment. I
have no idea what we're doing after work tonight, which is sort of
nice. Tomorrow is the great RachelFire combined birthday extravaganza
over at Czr's, which I am looking forward to with only a small amount
of uncertainty. I'll probably have a really good time. Hopefully I'll
get to play boardgames.
I managed to get a card sent off to Ceej, which is at least one thing
on my list. I hope she doesn't object violently to Maxfield Parrish.
Short, sweet, to the point. Rush is good music. I ought to play
the tapes here in my cube instead of just in my car.
