In This Garden

More coding. I created my database table this morning, and then had to drop & recreate it a few times to error-correct. I worked more on the server-side code. The framework for everything is written, and most of the details are filled in, but there's still holes in the structure, which I'm spending the afternoon busily knitting together. It's interesting.

Rachel showed up this morning with about eight more Pratchett books. I've started on Equal Rites, which is one of the early ones. So far it's a little more silly than coherent, but I have hopes that it will get better -- and even if it doesn't I know that the later ones are quite good.

Choir last night was ... well, not very choir-like. The class description was 'vocal instruction in a group setting', and that was exactly what it was -- a lot of individuals having a voice lesson at the same time. Overall I liked it, although the music selected by the instructor (a somatic awareness guy) is mostly insipid (the goopy song from Titanic being the prime example), and I was looking forward to doing some part-singing. Ah, well. Marith seemed to be non-traumatised, which is a good thing.

I went to Millbrae today. It was tiring but overall a good thing. Now I'm listening to the Levellers and pondering my dire need for more music at work. And coding. Always coding.
