Sleepy

A brief break in the workday; I need to ask Vipul some questions, and he's having lunch, so I am at loose ends. Thus I am eating a plum and scribbling here. Not that there's much to write about; there's work and work and more work. I finished my admin stuff and am now working on report screens that generate nifty graphs.

Seattle was a lot of fun, although there were some odd frustrating bits -- a dinner that almost everyone bailed on. But Jim and I walked around the docks and watched the sun set and admired the different colours of the water, and then we found an arcade and played Rampage together for $5 worth of quarters. And there was ice cream. I did in fact relax. It was neat to see Regis and Liralen, and pleasantly odd to see Brian Tanaka (who I worked with at SGI two years ago) again after so long.

Everyone liked Rent. It was nice to see it with a bunch of understudies; it gave the show a really different feel. Curt Skinner is an adorable Mark, but looks disturbingly like Lawrence Marvit.

Vipul has appeared. Back to work.
