Friday the 13th

I got up at 6:45 this morning in order to get Earl to work by 8:00 -- except traffic on Central was so light that he was at work by 7:45 and I was at work by 8. This was unexpectedly pleasant, although now (15:15) I'm starting to get extremely sleepy. Nonetheless, getting up early on a regular basis would be a positive thing. Sleep is for the weak.

I'm reading through the Lysator collection of book reviews, considering all the books I've found worthwhile which aren't reviewed there. And considering writing my own reviews, although I still think I use too many adjectives to review well. Plus -- it's scary. I'm not objective. I get emotionally involved in books, and so I end up enjoying things which aren't necessarily good. Why would people want to read my book reviews, anyway?

Ah, insecurity. I ought to go ahead with it anyway.

Sheldon goes on vacation next week. Does this mean I'll be handling all the urgent calls alone? Only time will tell.
